À propos de Nina

A French-Georgian actress and writer. I grew up in Paris and moved to the UK for my studies, first an English and Drama BA at Goldsmiths College, London and then an acting master at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.

I have always been passionate about languages and apart from my native French and Georgian, I am fluent in English and Italian.

I am passionate about theatre, film and literature.

A native French speaker who studied in the UK (Drama and English BA at Goldsmiths College and an acting master at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama), I am an experienced one-to-one French teacher.

I like to make my lessons fun, personable and engaging by using your interests and/or area of work as support material for the lessons, anything to make you speak! My own interests which I could bring to the table are cinema, the performing arts and literature. I'm very adaptable, so your own needs will shape the lessons. I usually really put the emphasis on conversation but my lessons always include grammar points too.

Parfait ! Nina is a fantastic teacher! I've spent many summers in France, so my conversational French was already good when I started working with her. I was looking for someone who could help me get comfortable with more complex sentence structures, as well as with some verb tenses I'd been avoiding; I also needed help with a number of little mistakes I'd been making for years without realizing. Nina has helped me enormously! She customizes each lesson in relation both to our overall objectives and to the progress made in previous meetings. She is particularly good at designing drill sessions that help to integrate complex grammatical forms directly into spoken French. She fully understands that the ultimate goal is to deploy the language correctly without having to think about it. Her English is excellent, which can be quite advantageous for anglophones who want to perfect their French. And lest I forget, she is wonderfully personable! Every hour I've spent with her has been extremely productive and lots of fun... Nina is the best French teacher I've ever had, by far!

après de nombreuses années ici, j'avais besoin d'aide pour améliorer mes temps conditionnels et subjonctifs afin d'être plus performant au travail et de mieux me connecter avec la famille de mon compagnon français. Nina has been my French teacher for over a year now, she is a great pedagogue, very clear, very communicative and enthusiastic. Lessons with her are always a pleasure and she is very good at making her students feel confident enough to speak. I started from scratch and I am generally very shy with languages but after one year of lessons, I now have the confidence to hold small conversations with French natives.

Nina has been a fantastic teacher.
Not only did she help me to improve my conversational skills but even my writing has been brought to a much higher level within matter of months. Very organised, and able to adapt to my specific learning style. Can’t recommend enough and will definitely continue my classes with her!

Nina a préparé mes deux enfants au BAC de français et philo et ils ont été ravis. C’est une professeure enthousiaste qui saura intéresser même les plus récalcitrants. Mes enfants ont bien réussi leurs épreuves. Ces methodes pour aborder les épreuves du BAC sont d’une grande clarté. Elle a fait preuve d’une grande patience et gentillesse tout au long du processus de préparation, nous la recommandons!
Ceux qui souhaitent faire leurs études dans des universités anglo-saxonnes pourront également profiter de ses conseils.
