À propos de Rayssa
Hello, my name is Rayssa. I have just arrived in France, and I love teaching English and helping the students communicate with the world. What I most love about it, it is how rapidly results can be seen when a language is learned and how it can be put into practice from Day 1. I always tell my students that English is an indispensable tool, whatever their profession may be, for a great part of the information available in the world is in English.
In my 8 years of experience as an English as a Second Language teacher in Brazil, I have helped students travel abroad, apply for universities and exchange programs, translate final papers, pass English exams, train for job interviews, serve clients for their companies, among other things while acquiring confidence in expressing themselves as well as polishing their accent. My last job as a teacher was that of an English Instructor focusing on business English for a renowned school in São Paulo.
I enjoy teaching and am open to learning every day in the academic environment. I am a creative, dedicated, responsible and enthusiastic person to work with and I have the patience and skills necessary to guide students of all ages. I would be delighted to be your Instructor! During my teaching experience I realized each student is unique and I have their own sets of talents, but they all have something in common: the only way for them to learn English is through immersion. Immersion means there is a massive exposure to the language. Do you know people who have had 10 years of English course and yet do not speak English, and people who have lived abroad for 6 months and come back speaking fluently? The reason for this is that Speaking and Writing in English is directly related to how much you Listen and Read in English; and the only way to spend so much time in contact with a language is if you are learning it through the themes that you already love. My method as a tutor consists in recreating an enviroment where the student has the most exposure to English and grammar teaching is only a tool used to understand the structure of the language when needed. I propose to the student, books, movies, conversation topics and essays that will relate to their job, interest and hobbie making the class not only efficent but fun!
