À propos d'Amélie
My name is Amélie, I am 26 years old and I have been teaching English for about three years now, along with being a long time lover of languages and travel. I am originally from France but have spent most of my teenage and adult life living abroad. I forst lived in the United States from age 15 to age 18, then moved to Canada to pursue my studies at a prestigious univeristy and work between 2011 and 2016. In 2016, I moved to Northern Spain, where I perfected my Spanish. During the past year, I lived in Spain, France, Chile and Canada. I just moved to Marseille permanently and intend on continuing to pursue my career in language teaching and interpretation/translation. I have my own business, Lily's words, which I am currently developing to its maximum potential and I translate fashion articles for a blog a couple of times a week. I am eager to discover this beautiful city and to help as many people as possible with their language learning process!

I adapt to what the person wants and needs first and foremost. If they tell me they love writing, then we will do a lot of that. But it is also important to practice things that people are not as comfortable with so that we do not leave any aspect of language learning behind. In my opinion, if a student leaves my class having learned at least one thing, then I did it right! I do not expect anyone to absorb everything I say in one session! I also believe that test should not be taken under pressure, as many students cannot perform under such conditions, so I like to make it fun when I can. Obviously if the child is older and is preparing an exam for example, I would try to recreate the conditions of the exam as accurately as possible.
