Hello! My name is Kevin, I’m a 31-year-old English tutor born and raised in Toronto, Canada. As a native English speaker with a lifelong passion for language, I bring both fluency and authenticity to my teaching. I have a strong background in reading, writing, and comprehension, and I aim to make each lesson both practical and engaging. As a fluent English speaker with over 25 years of experience in the English language. My approach begins with an assessment of the students' proficiency in English, utilizing a standardized English test. An example of questions is as follows; (Read and respond, name the object, nouns and vowels, prefixes and suffixes, et cetera). My technique focuses on interactive learning, practical communication, and building confidence through conversation, grammar practice, and vocabulary development. I use a combination of real-life scenarios, multimedia tools, and customized exercises to keep lessons dynamic and effective. My courses are structured around clear learning goals and can be adapted to suit the needs of the student. A typical lesson includes a mix of speaking, listening, reading, and writing exercises, with regular feedback and progress evaluations. I emphasize practical usage and everyday English to help students gradually communicate naturally and confidently. As a tutor, I am patient, encouraging, and adaptable, with my core mission being to ensure every lesson is both productive and enjoyable. I am here to help beginner to intermediate learners, as well as individuals preparing for English proficiency exams (such as IELTS or TOEFL), job interviews, or travel.
