During my classes I use combined methodology. It is necessary to choose proper textbooks (Cambridge University Press, Oxford University Press, Pearson Education). but not to forget to go beyond that.
I use extracts from articles, different videos that I find myself apart from the teaching database.
I also try to incorporate simulations of real-life situation to make a student for comfortable with his English.
