I have worked with a few different methods and since I'm also a music teacher I came up with different approaches that have ameliorate d my skills , The main idea is to get the student to speak as much as possible, as if it was a therapy session. All my methods are widely diverse , though having a clear path to Fluency:

Total Physical Response
You will learn English through a series of activities,such as: “Close the door”, “Stand up”,"stroll to the window and open it
The Direct Method
The Audio method is also known as the direct method, which involves thinking and communicating in English. This communication between the teacher and the student is strictly in English, and the student is barred from using their native language.
Communicative Language Teaching
There are some learning and teaching techniques that can be used in Communicative Language Teaching class, for example, role play, information gap, language exchanges, simulation, discussion, games, pair work, and group work. All these techniques can engage the learners in the communication process.
