À propos de Daria
My name is Daria, and I have been teaching English for a decade. I have taught basic grammar to schoolchildren, business English to corporate employees, medical English to university students, and I have loved all of it. Graduate of Charles University in Prague and the Sorbonne Nouvelle in Paris, I am currently working on a PhD in English literature and teaching as a full-time university professor. Apart from French and English, I also speak Czech and Russian. I know all too well what it's like to be struggling with a new language, and I like nothing more than to help you push through - and start enjoying the amazing new skill!

My focus is on speaking practice: there really is nothing like full immersion to learn a language. However, I do speak French and am always happy to explain things in both languages. The lesson plan depends on the student's personal goals. I have solid experience in helping learners prepare for university entrance examinations, IELTS, CPA/CPE, and others. Materials all provided! If you want to boost your general English, whether for school, for work, or your own personal development, it is my pleasure to help you out: we will reinforce your grasp of the English grammar, have lots of speaking practice, read articles and watch anglophone films (outside the classroom, of course - and no subtitles!).
