À propos de Maria
My name is María. I am a psychologist with a Master’s degree in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy, as well as specialised training in Trauma and Technology Addictions.
I am a patient, friendly and responsible person, and I really enjoy helping others learn in a comfortable and supportive environment. My background in psychology helps me understand that everyone learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to each student’s age, level, needs and goals.
I particularly enjoy working with children and teenagers, but I am also happy to teach adults. I can help with conversation, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, school English, homework support and building confidence when speaking.
Spanish is my native language and I speak English fluently. I currently live in France and I am learning French, although my French is still very limited. For this reason, I mainly communicate in English and Spanish.
I would be very happy to help you or your child improve their English in a friendly, practical and personalised way.

My English lessons are adapted to each student’s level, age and personal goals. Whether you want to improve your speaking skills, feel more confident using English, improve your pronunciation or grammar, or simply practise through conversation, we can adapt the lessons to what you need.
For children, I use games, stories, pictures and interactive activities to make learning English natural and enjoyable. With teenagers, we can work on school English, homework, grammar, vocabulary, conversation and building confidence. For adults, lessons can focus on everyday English, conversation, pronunciation or any specific areas they would like to improve.
I believe that learning a language should be practical, encouraging and adapted to the individual. My goal is to create a comfortable environment where students feel confident making mistakes, asking questions and gradually improving.
Lessons can be online or in person in Viry-Châtillon and the surrounding areas.
