I am American and have been living in Europe for the past 8 years. I have been teaching English for almost 7 years now, experienced with children and adults. I am in the process of getting certified in Child Development. I have also been helping prepare students for the Cambridge exams. My teaching is always adapted to the student's needs and level. I prefer walking rather than running when learning a language. Especially when the student has learned English in different environments and therefore may have "islands", strengths in one area and weaknesses in others. I assess these strengths and weaknesses and then develop a lesson plan based on those assessments, with the student's approval.
