Bonjour, je m'appelle Frédérique Emmanuelle Irène Marie Léa, j'ai 37 ans et je suis originaire de Rennes, en Bretagne.

Je suis professeur de Français Langue Etrangère, diplômée avec mention, en :

- Didactique des langues, spécialisation Français Langue Etrangère (master 1 et 2)

- Sciences de l'éducation et de la formation (licence 3 en un an, master 1 et 2)

- Sciences humaines, spécialisation en histoire (licence 3, master 1 et 2)

J'enseigne le français depuis plus de 15 ans, en France et à l'étranger.

J'ai ainsi enseigné le français dans plusieurs établissements publics en Italie :
dans une crèche trilingue, dans un collège, dans un lycée linguistique, dans un lycée professionnel;
et dans un institut de langue privé en Espagne.

En outre, je donne des cours de français, individuels et collectifs, depuis 2005 :
aux enfants à partir de 4 ans, aux élèves et aux étudiants du collège à l'université, aux adultes ayant des objectifs spécifiques ou une passion pour le français.

Parallèlement, j'ai enseigné pendant trois ans l'italien à des débutants absolus (alphabétisés et non alphabétisés).

Parlant plusieurs langues, je connais bien les difficultés d'apprentissage de celles-ci. De plus étant bilingue (français-italien), je connais bien les difficultés du passage d'une langue à l'autre.

Je corrige et/ou traduis aussi régulièrement des textes, des essais et des thèses, ainsi que des articles de presse.

Hello, my name is Frédérique Emmanuelle Irène Marie Léa, I am 37 years old and I am from Rennes, in Brittany.

I am a French foreign language teacher, with degrees in :

- Didactics of languages, specialised in French as a foreign language (master 1 and 2)

- Education sciences (licence 3 in one year, master 1 and 2)

- Humanities, specialisation in History (licence 3, master 1 and 2)

I have been teaching French for over 15 years, in France and abroad.

I have taught French in several public institutions in Italy and Spain:
in a trilingual nursery, in a secondary school, in a linguistic high school, in a professional high school and in a private language institute.

In addition, I have been teaching French, individually and in groups, since 2005 to:
children from 4 years old, pupils and students from secondary school to university, adults with specific objectives, or a passion for French.

I also taught Italian for three years to absolute beginners (literate and non-literate).

As I speak several languages, I am familiar with the difficulties of learning them. Moreover, being bilingual (French-Italian), I am familiar with the difficulties of switching from one language to another.

I also regularly correct and/or translate texts, essays and theses, as well as press articles.

Ma méthode d'enseignement s'adapte aux spécificités, aux besoins, aux objectifs, aux difficultés et aux intérêts personnels de chaque étudiant afin que celui-ci aborde l'apprentissage ou l'approfondissement de la langue française avec enthousiasme et la majeure satisfaction possible.

La premier "cours" gratuit sera surtout l'occasion de faire connaissance. Vous pourrez exprimer vos attentes et définir vos objectifs d'apprentissage. Nous réfléchirons ensemble au planning et nous choisirons une date à laquelle nous voudrions avoir atteint notre premier objectif d'apprentissage. Cette rencontre permettra également de réaliser une première évaluation des différentes compétences (production et compréhension, écrites et orales, intéraction).

Chaque cours sera conçu sur mesure en fonction des besoins, des lacunes et des exigences de l'apprenant et évidemment, en conformité avec les directives du Cadre européen commun de référence pour les langues.

Nous parlerons en français tout au long du cours, nous éviterons autant que possible les traductions qui ne sont utiles qu'en apparence, cependant, étant bilingue français-italien, et parlant également l'anglais et l'espagnol, je clarifierai tous les doutes dans votre langue si nécessaire, en particulier les points grammaticaux les plus épineux, et bien évidemment avec les débutants absolus.

Nous voyagerons ensemble à travers les cultures françaises et francophones, en utilisant des documents authentiques (articles de magazines, journaux, sites internet, cartes, affiches, recettes, publicités, chansons, films, séries...).

° Mes méthodes selon les profils d'apprenant °

Plus que jamais pendant l'enfance, l'apprentissage d'une langue étrangère doit être une source de plaisir et d'amusement. Mes cours avec les enfants se déroulent dans un environnement convivial, serein, dynamique et ludique. Avec les plus jeunes, je fais équipe avec certains de mes acolytes (Ludo le petit robot, Tatou le chaton, et plusieurs autres personnages amusants) pour éveiller et maintenir l'attention des jeunes élèves. Nous découvrirons ensemble la langue française à travers des activités rituelles, des jeux, des observations de la nature, des chansons, des ateliers créatifs, des contes et des histoires ...

Quant aux élèves et aux étudiants, qu'il s'agisse d'améliorer leurs notes, de passer un examen, de préparer une certification, de les accompagner dans leur expérience Erasmus, etc., l'approche proposée sera personnalisée et concrète. Elle visera, cours après cours, à atteindre les objectifs convenus au début de notre parcours. En fonction des besoins et des spécialisations, l'enseignement se concentrera davantage sur une ou plusieurs compétences linguistiques (la communication orale -écouter et parler-, ou sur l'écriture, la prononciation, la lecture) ou sur l'ensemble de celles-ci (compréhension et production, orale et écrite, interaction).

Avec les expatriés qui viennent d'arriver en France, ou avec ceux qui après quelques temps sentent le besoin d'approfondir leurs connaissances de la langue française, nous suivrons un programme qui leur permettra d'etre le plus rapidement possible à l'aise au quotidien dans leur pratique du français.

Enfin, pour ceux qui abordent le français pour la première fois (ou le redécouvrent après des années) par passion, par plaisir, par défi ou simplement par envie d'apprendre, l'enseignement, toujours sur mesure, fera une large place à l'interaction et à la culture, aux régionalismes et aux idiomes, aux arts et à la littérature, en fonction des centres d'intérêt de chacun.

My teaching method is adapted to the specificities, needs, objectives, difficulties and personal interests of each student so that he or she approaches the learning or knowledge enhancement of French language with enthusiasm and with satisfaction.

The first free "course" is mainly an opportunity to get to know each other, you will express your expectations and state your learning objectives. We will define together the planning and decide on a date by which we should reach your first learning objective. In this meeting we will also carry out an initial evaluation of the different french language skills (written and oral) and outline a customized course to reach your objectives.

Each course will be tailor-made according to your needs, gaps and requirements and of course, compliant with the guidelines of The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

We will be speaking in French throughout the course, avoiding as much as possible translations that are only apparently useful. However, being bilingual French-Italian and also English and Spanish speaker, I will clarify any doubts in your language if necessary, especially the most difficult grammatical points, or if you are absolute beginners.

We will travel together through French and Francophone cultures, using authentic documents (magazine articles, newspapers, websites, maps, posters, recipes, advertisements, songs, movies, series...).

° My methods according to the learner's profile °

More than ever during childhood, learning a foreign language should be a source of pleasure and fun. My lessons with children take place in a friendly, serene, dynamic and playful environment. With the youngest students, I team up with some of my sidekicks (Ludo the little robot, Armadillo the kitten, and several other fun and cheerful characters) to surprise and hold the attention of the young students. Based on their daily lives, we will discover the French language together through ritual activities, games, nature observations, songs, creative workshops, tales and stories...

As for the students, whether they want to improve their grades, take an exam, prepare for a certification, help them with their Erasmus experience, etc., the approach proposed will be personalized and concrete. It will aim, course after course, to reach the objectives agreed upon at the beginning of our course. Depending on the needs and specializations, the teaching will focus more on one or more linguistic skills (oral communication -listening and speaking-, or on writing, pronunciation) or on all of them (comprehension and production, oral and written).

With expatriates who have just arrived in France, or those who feel the need to deepen their knowledge of the French language after some time here, we will be following a program that will allow them to be confident as quickly as possible in their daily practice of French.

Finally, for those who approach French for the first time (or re-approach it after years) by passion, pleasure, challenge or simply by desire to learn, the teaching, always tailored to the student, will make a large place for interaction and culture, regionalisms and idioms, art and sports, according to the interests of each student.

Frédérique is a wonderful professor (and person)! I contacted her because I wanted to move to France to continue my university studies and I didn't speak French at all. I had to take the C1 exam in less than five months, and thanks to Frédérique I made it, and with very high grades!
