My classes with Jocelyn have been phenomenal. He’s very personally and outgoing while also still super knowledgeable. I am a linguist by trade so learning French with someone who has a great grasp on French grammar and how to explain it to an English speaker has been phenomenal! I highly recommend anyone taking classes with him. You’ll definitely see an improvement after a few classes and exponentially more after a few months! You’ll never regret the decision to learn and/or improve your French, but you will regret not trying!

I started learning French from scratch with a focus on business travel. With great patience and excellent teaching skills, Jojo taught me—and continues to teach me—in a wonderful way. Jocelyn uses an excellent methodology that strengthens grammar, pronunciation, comprehension, and writing skills, combined with digital solutions that make lessons easier and more efficient. I already had a foundation in French, especially in speaking, but I needed to improve my grammar, and the classes with the professor have helped me develop and refine this skill.

He is an incredible teacher. He puts so much dedication into preparing the materials and the virtual learning environment. After just one month, I already feel comfortable reading some materials. Jojo is organized with plenty of different sorts of material at the ready and can pivot immediately if we request a focus on something. There are two of us taking this and working around our interests and knowledge is harder than having just one person to tutor! I particularly appreciate the skills-related work on listening. I think that's one of the hardest things to learn and the concentration on that is great.
