Through Marie's impassioned, heart-led, pragmatic and ever joyful approach, I was able to fully understand what the true meaning of great teaching was; to deliver incredible academic results through an indefatigable love of teaching, with the students interest always at the forefront. Marie's love of teaching and the French language is nothing short of infectious. She brings out the best in her students, celebrating our strengths and, through her great patience, smoothing out our linguistic weaknesses. Central to Marie's success as a teacher is how she engages with her pupils. Through her wonderfully sunny and positivity-led presence coupled with passionate teaching, she rather effortlessly inspires us to do our genuine best. I've personally always struggled with academic pressure, often feeling easily overwhelmed and even resentful of my obligations. This was never the case with Marie, as every week her lessons brought me much needed light and excitement, all the while helping me make truly consistent and impressive linguistic progress. I don't doubt for a second that my results (A* at A-level and A at GCSE) would have been remotely possible without her incredible academic support. Marie is an exceptionally talented teacher and knows how to engage children and keep them motivated during lessons. She is supportive and makes her pupils feel comfortable. Marie sets them realistic targets and goals. She understands her subject deeply and is passionate about it. Marie is a wonderful teacher. Her lessons are very engaging and she knows how to inspire as well as how to prepare for exams. being a native speaker of French, she is able to not just improve one's proficiency but as well one's accent. Marie taught French GCSE to our son and he achieved fantastic results. As he had sat his French GCSE in Yr.10 and had enjoyed the lessons so much, he decided that he wanted to continue lessons with Marie to do AS French (1st yr of A-Level) alongside his other GCSEs. Several of our friends have asked Marie to tutor their children and all have been full of praise. We can not recommend Marie highly enough.

Marie is a very reliable, organised, trustworthy, friendly and professional teacher. She has a fun and productive way to engage with students and her lessons are a real joy. I have known Marie for a couple of years and she very successfully taught French GCSE and AS Level to my children (15 and 17). They excelled their own expectations and especially my daughter gained more confidence. In fact my son did not only do his French GCSE he also did his French AS level and French communication. This is all down to Marie. We have lived in different countries (including France) and experienced different teachers. Without a doubt Marie is the best French teacher we had. The children even enjoyed grammar lessons and certainly benefited from Marie's excellent teaching style and flawless knowledge. My daughter and I are learning French with Marie and she is an amazing teacher. We are studying for GCSE which my daughter will take in June. (I am just keen to improve). She comes to our house once a week or we do a 1hr Skype session. She is very inspiring, knowledgeable, thorough and very interesting about French culture and language whenever it is relevant. Marie P. helped my son Pierre to prepare his A'Levels in english. He passed his test with a grade A. He improved a lot his conversation skills which allowed him to fill very comfortable when he went to London for a school exchange.
