I currently work as Operations Analyst at a financial institution in Brussels. Before that, I lived and studied in the UK (London-England) for over 3yrs where I obtained a BSc.(Hons) Actuarial Mathematics and Statistics. I moved to Belgium 7yrs ago where I undertook a MSc. Biostatistics (Completely in English).
I have always worked and studied in an English environment and I have a passion for knowledge and transmitting knowledge. I also love to read, travel and discover new culture.

First, I focus on already existing teaching materials that the student may have from school (notes or books) and I go back on these materials in order to help the student with whatever was not properly assimilated. If no teaching material, I start off with some tests in order to determine the student's level.
I follow up with vocabulary building and writer's workshop which allows the student to develop their vocabulary and learn new words every day. I believe these strategies are key to building confidence and develop skills. I also encourage literacy by allowing students to pick their own reading materials, which I believe is a way to develop lifelong readers.
