I have been a civil rights lawyer for many years, having practised law to defend the interests of the oppressed, including at the ICC in the Hague. Obtaining such a position is difficult, though not impossible, especially due to the amount of competition in the field.
In this masterclass, I will help you obtain a job at a legal organization and become an efficient legal writer. In these classes, we will focus on the following:
- Draft a winning CV and letter,
- Build interview skills,
- Gain confidence and efficiency when speaking,
- Write legal documents in plain English.
In these master classes, we will learn to brainstorm, think critically and logically, and gain confidence and express it.
After the stage is over, I will continue to give further advice and help with your job search, and/or your legal document drafting and defending.

Planning du stage
The masterclass is held over 5 meetings at my home with a maximum of 8 students.
Each meeting is 2 hours long, organized as follows:
- Meeting 1: CV and letter drafting. At the end of this meeting, you should have all the basics to draft a winning CV and letter for your dream legal job.
- Meeting 2 (2 hours): Build interview skills. We will begin with the basics of interviewing, then brainstorm to finish with interview role plays.
- Meeting 3 (2 hours) & 4 (1/2 hour): Learn how to speak with confidence. For two hours we will learn techniques for gaining enough confidence to speak clearly and assertively.
- Meeting 4 (1.5 hours) & 5 (2 hours): Speak with confidence (2) and write legal documents. Meeting 5 is mostly a course on good writing, especially for legal documents. It will give you the opportunity to edit your existing legal documents.
