À propos de Ciara
Hello! I'm Ciara, originally from Ireland and currently based in Paris, I am a native English-speaking educator with experience across language immersion, arts education, and youth support in France, Ireland, and the UK. Alongside holding an Advanced TEFL qualification, I hold a First-Class BA (Honours) degree in Ballet Performance and have worked with children and young people aged 3-18 in both educational and creative settings. In Paris, I have worked with children in a private family setting, supporting their English development through conversation, reading, creative activities and everyday interaction.
I have also worked as an outreach programme leader with Prosart Ballet Company in France, where I designed and delivered English immersion workshops for multilingual groups of children. I combined storytelling, movement and performance activities to encourage spoken English, participation and confidence.

I offer personalised English lessons for children, teenagers, and adults, with a particular focus on conversational English, confidence building, English immersion, and creative learning.
My lessons can be adapted to the student’s age, level, personality and goals. I aim to create a relaxed and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable speaking English and making mistakes while progressing.

• Speaking and pronunciation confidence
• English through creative activities
For younger learners, I particularly enjoy making English interactive through stories, games, creative activities and movement rather than relying solely on traditional textbook exercises.
As a professional dancer, I can also incorporate movement and creativity into lessons where appropriate, making English particularly engaging for children who learn well through active and practical activities.
I am currently based in Paris and offer lessons in person or online, depending on the student’s needs.
