Hi, I’m Daniella Mihal, a TEFL-certified English teacher and passionate communicator. I’m 33 years old and currently divide my time between Cape Town and Brussels. I grew up multilingual, speaking German, English, Afrikaans, and Zulu, which taught me early on how powerful language can be in helping people connect and feel confident. I discovered my passion for teaching during the year and a half I spent in South Korea, where I taught English to students of all ages, levels, and backgrounds. That experience showed me how quickly people can improve when they feel supported, understood, and motivated. My teaching “superpower” is the level of personal attention I give each student. I take time to understand your goals, strengths, challenges, and learning style - and I design each lesson specifically for you. Whether you want to improve your conversation skills, prepare for an interview, refine your pronunciation, or feel more confident at work, I’ll guide you with patience, structure, and encouragement. Students often tell me they feel relaxed, listened to, and more confident after just a few lessons - and that’s the environment I work hard to create. A typical lesson looks like: - A warm-up chat to ease into English and start thinking in a fun and engaging way. - A pre-planned activity designed around your objectives (whether it’s business English, travel, interviews, or English assignments/homework). - A variety of engaging materials (including videos, articles, role plays, and podcasts) to keep lessons dynamic and tailored to your learning style and preferences. My classes are open to all levels, from beginners to advanced learners, whether you’re a student or a professional. Together, we’ll work on improving your fluency, natural speaking ability, and confidence - or help you prepare for English exams, complete assignments, or master specific English skills.
