I am a native English speaker from the United States, raised in a Danish-American family, with over seven years of experience teaching English in Paris and Copenhagen. I currently teach English at a language school in the Paris region while also providing private lessons to children, teenagers, university students, professionals, and academics.
Every lesson is designed around your individual goals. Whether you want to improve your conversational fluency, pronunciation, Business English, prepare for an exam, ace a job interview, or deliver a presentation with confidence, we'll build a structured learning plan tailored to your needs.
Over the years, I've helped students prepare for university examinations, professionals advance their careers, entrepreneurs communicate confidently with international clients, and academics present their work at international conferences. One of my students, a Professor of Dentistry, entrusted me with refining the English for academic presentations and research communication.
My lessons are practical, engaging, and conversation-driven. Rather than simply memorising grammar rules, you'll learn how English is actually used in professional and everyday situations. I adapt my teaching style to every student, ensuring lessons remain challenging, enjoyable, and focused on measurable progress.

No two students learn in exactly the same way, which is why every lesson is personalised.
For children and teenagers, I create engaging lessons that build confidence while strengthening vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and communication skills through interactive activities.
For adults and professionals, lessons are goal-oriented and adapted to real-world situations. We can work on Business English, meetings, presentations, interviews, negotiations, public speaking, accent and pronunciation, or simply becoming a more natural and confident speaker.
Lessons are available online or in person in Paris, and students receive clear guidance on what to practise between sessions so that progress continues outside the classroom.
