À propos de Joanne
I am an Irish national and living in Nyon. I am CELTA certified. I teach all levels from beginners to advanced business English. I can teach one to one or small groups. I have helped students prepare for exams. I believe language learning should be engaging and relevant. My classes are organised around the needs of the student and their requirements. My lessons are structured to maximize student talking time. No two of my classes are ever the same, and are fun as well as informative and helpful, so that the student always reach their goal in learning their new language.

Depending on the students needs and requirements, I build the students lessons based on their strengths and interests. Use of the direct method, for example reading in English, use of realia (objects, pictures) Pronunciation is practised right from the 1st lesson. I encourage the student to speak as much as possible in English. The syllabus is based on using situations or topics, with the aid of writing and listening.
