À propos de Joanne

I am an Irish national and living in Nyon. I am CELTA certified. I teach all levels from beginners to advanced business English. I can teach one to one or small groups. I have prepared students for exams and watched students go from their level that they started out on, to the next level, and gain in confidence along the way. My classes are structured around the needs of the student and their requirements. No two of my classes are ever the same, and are fun as well as informative and helpful, so that the student always reach their goal in learning their new language.

À propos du cours

Depending on the students needs and requirements, I build the students lessons based on their strengths and interests. Use of the direct method, for example reading in English, use of realia (objects, pictures) Pronunciation is practised right from the 1st lesson. I encourage the student to speak as much as possible in English. The syllabus is based on using situations or topics, with the aid of writing and listening.
