À propos d'Avishi
Hi! I'm Avishi, a 24-year-old, native English speaker currently studying at HEC Paris Business School.
What motivates me to teach is my belief that language opens doors. Strong English skills can create opportunities for studying abroad, succeeding in international environments, building confidence, and connecting with people from different backgrounds. I enjoy helping students reach those goals and seeing them become more confident in their abilities over time.
As someone who has recently gone through competitive exams, university applications, interviews, and the transition to studying in an international environment, I understand many of the challenges students face today. I aim to create a supportive and encouraging space where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing.
Whether you are preparing for the CAE exam, GMAT Verbal, university admissions, or simply looking to improve your English, I look forward to helping you achieve your goals.

I believe English is best learned through interesting conversations and real-world content. My teaching combines discussion, practical application, and targeted feedback so that students actively use the language rather than simply study it.
A typical lesson begins with a short review of previous learning and goals, followed by an engaging activity tailored to the student's needs. Depending on your interests and objectives, we might analyse a business case study, discuss a current event, review a podcast, practise a university interview, debate an idea, or work through CAE or GMAT questions together. Each lesson ends with personalised feedback and clear next steps for improvement.
As a native English speaker and current student at HEC Paris Business School in Paris, I bring a fresh perspective and a strong understanding of the English used in international universities. Having achieved an A* in Cambridge English, I understand both the challenges of language learning and the strategies needed to succeed. My strengths as a tutor are creating a relaxed and encouraging learning environment, adapting lessons to each student, and helping learners build both confidence and measurable progress.
Lessons are suitable for CAE candidates, GMAT Verbal preparation, secondary school and university students, professionals, and adult learners. Whether your goal is exam success, university admissions, professional communication, interview preparation, or greater fluency in everyday conversations, lessons are tailored to your level and objectives.
