À propos de Maelle
My name is Maëlle Bertin, I'm 21 years old and I grew up in Normandy.
In high school, I enrolled in a dual diploma program, the American High School Diploma. It allowed me to build strong skills in writing, reading, speaking, and listening in English from an early age. This bilingual foundation gave me real ease and confidence in the language, beyond the classroom.
At Sciences Po Paris, I chose the North America track as my geographic specialty, which meant taking all of my classes and exams in English. This academic immersion, combined with a TOEFL score of 100/120, reflects a fluent, precise, and genuinely academic level of English.
I take my role seriously: I prepare each session thoughtfully, and I believe learning a language should stay engaging and fun. My goal is to create a great atmosphere with each student, offering them the best learning experience they need.

Hi, I'm Maelle! I'm a Master's student in European Affairs at Sciences Po Paris.
My lessons are designed for students from primary school to high school (collège and lycée), at any level. I adapt to each student's needs and way of learning, always remembering how I, as a student myself, would have liked to learn English. I can help them catch up, consolidate their fundamentals, prepare for exams and tests, or simply build confidence speaking English. I also support students working toward international certifications who want extra oral practice and exam strategy.
