À propos de Rocío
I am an active person passionate about lifelong learning. Managing to be after school teacher and private modern language teacher, I finished my Infants degree successfully.
The Guidance Teacher Bachelor's degree gave me the opportunity to go to Czech Republic with an Erasmus grant. I spent a year absorbing ideas and experiences from other students around the word: Montessori, drama lessons as a way to encourage the special needs pupils... a new world in front of my eyes. It was the end of 2013 when I started working in a bilingual Kindergarten in Germany as native Spanish teacher. After that, a new opportunity appeared: As part of the European Voluntary Service, I was the social service and psychologist assistant in a Hostage House and Day Center for people with mental disorders in Athens. It has been an unforgettable experience.
I have worked as English teacher in a private school in Alicante. There, I had to coordinate with my colleagues in order to program attractive, manipulative and diverse activities that allowed our pupils to develop different skills, making from Gardner's Multiple Intelligence theory our base for planning. This year I had the chance to be working in Almería as English teacher too and I offer private lessons as well.
I have the ability to see the bright side of every situation and I always find creative solutions. In order to finish, I would like to let you know that I know how to apply my knowledge as Educational Psychologist in the real field.

Me gusta utilizar el inglés desde el primer momento durante las clases y sólo recurrir al español cuando es extrictamente necesario, de ese modo la inmersión lingüística es mucho mayor y la progresión con la lengua se dispara sin apenas darse uno cuenta.

Rocío es una profe de inglés super dulce, los niños la miran con ojos como platos mientras ella les hipnotiza con sus canciones. La mejor forma de que los peques aprendan inglés sin darse cuenta y de una forma natural.
