Teaching is the work among many others I did in the past that is the more rewarding to me.
Being native or have proficiency is not always enough to be a good teacher. You really need to put yourself in the student shoes, be patient, creative and kind.
I learnt English,Spanish and now am studying Thai language so I understand how is like to study a language and sometimes feels confused, lost, or discouraged...This is part of the learning process :)

My name is Samir, I am a french native teaching English and French. I graduated from a business school (MA) and I also hold a Bachelor degree in Psychology as well as a coaching certification .
I used to work in Switzerland for various multinational companies and I relocated to Thailand where I am mainly proposing French and English lessons for kids, students and adults.
I am using different learning methods according to the student level, needs and goals
My standard proven Methodology :
1. 15 min Talking : Get my student to talk as much as they can about any subject they like. Then we review together the grammatical, phonetic mistakes.
2. 15 min Listening/Comprehension : I read a news article or simple story , and then the student needs to explain what he understand. Then we review the mistakes.
3. 15 min Reading : the student reads an article of his/my choice (prepared in advance), then we open a discussion about the ideas
4. Vocabulary/phonetics
After the course, I sent an email to students with the key points to review
