I am using not only modern books, but also a digital board where I can give many examples. I also use PowerPoints with a small summary of the lesson so that every student can keep it after the session. Most of the students make progress in less than one semester.

My methods are personalised to each student (I work with kids with learning difficulties too). The best method is exercising a lot depending on the learning rhythm of the students. Testing often their learning capability helps also to keep in contact with the needs of the students.
