À propos d'Isidora
Native French speaker with a strong UK academic background. Living or working in France, but still feeling held back by the language barrier?
Navigating daily life, connecting with colleagues around the coffee machine, or handling French administration can quickly become exhausting. Traditional language textbooks often teach outdated phrasing, heavy grammar tables, and academic vocabulary that bear little resemblance to how French people actually speak in the office and on the street.
As a French speaker educated in the UK system, I provide practical, real-world French coaching specifically structured for English-speaking professionals, expats, and their families.
No rote memorization, no obscure grammar drills — just immediate, usable fluency.
1. What We Focus On
Workplace French & Career Communication:
Participating naturally in meetings, speaking up, and pitching ideas with confidence.
Navigating informal workplace culture: small talk, networking lunches, and water-cooler chats.
Polishing professional emails, memos and messages with the correct tone and business etiquette.
Understanding French corporate dynamics and unwritten cultural codes.
Practical Expats' Survival Toolkit:
Handling French bureaucracy (visas, CAF, CPAM/Ameli, utilities, bank accounts).
Medical appointments, real estate viewings, schools, and neighborhood errands.
Ordering, shopping, and everyday interactions without switching back to English out of panic.
Speaking Confidence, Pronunciation & Idioms:
Demystifying French phonetics, rhythm, liaisons, and tricky nasal sounds.
Learning authentic, everyday colloquial French (argot courant, natural abbreviations) so you understand natives at full speed.
Shifting away from mental translation and thinking directly in French.
2. How the Sessions Work
100% Tailored to Your Goals: Whether you are an absolute beginner (A0/A1) needing clear explanations in English, or an intermediate speaker (B1/B2) striving for professional polish, every session is built around your day-to-day context.
Bilingual Efficiency: Complex grammatical concepts or subtle cultural nuances can be explained clearly in English whenever needed — zero wasted time staring blankly at each other.
3. Free Initial Consultation (30 Minutes)
Current Assessment: Evaluating your current comfort level and listening comprehension.
Needs Analysis: Identifying your urgent bottlenecks (e.g., upcoming meetings, visa interview, social confidence).
Action Plan: Setting up a realistic, tailored roadmap matching your work schedule.
