Florence is a great tutor for learning the French language. She understands what the best way for an individual to learn a new language. Also, she offers appreciable homework that really help learning the essential verbs in French. As well, the one-on-one sessions were emphasized on verbal communication, which really helped in my pronunciation. Her teaching style is very fitting for learning French, as it is stressed on interaction rather than learning from a worksheet or a book. It makes you feel involved in the learning during every session, which makes the learning fun! She is originally from France which really helped me understand proper French pronunciations in comparison to non-native French speakers.
The big thing about Florence is that she is able to adapt to your learning style, and tailor a lesson plan that is best suited for you! I highly recommend Florence if you are learning French at any level!

Florence has been helping me learn french for a while now and I can't say enough good things about her. Have you ever just had something happen and you're like, OMG I really lucked out!? Well that's what Florence brings to the table when teaching someone. Most people I find teach you a language and then you don't hear from them until your next lesson, well not Florence. She will tailor your lesson and YES EVEN HOMEWORK to your needs and keep in contact whenever you need it. She will make learning french fun and easy. The amount of effort she puts into each lesson actually blew my mind and now that I'm used to it, I wouldn't dare go to anyone else cause I'm sure I'd be let down. Our family is so happy that we can get Florence to be my daughter's French tutor. We have been with several tutors before and Florence is the best.
My daughter is alwasys very eager to start the class every time cause she feels it is very fun to have the class with Florence. Florence has the magic trick which can make the French classes very intriguing. As parents, we can see my daughter's French has been sigficatnlly improved. My daughter learnt a lot about all subjects and evern we had the class with Florence's friends in France. We appreciate the teacher is always punctual and making effor to keep the classes consistent and organized.

Florence has been tutoring my son for a few months. She is exceptional. She has the right strategies to engage kids. She is very flexible and willing to incorporate school learning goals into her tutoring plan. My son's french vocab has greatly improved. She's a keeper!!

She's patient, thorough, and very skilled at adapting her lesson plan to suit both the personality and skill level of the ones she is teaching. In addition, she provides cultural and regional information on France while teaching the language, giving a very well rounded session that goes above and beyond simply learning how to read/write/speak French.

My wife and I took joint classes with Florence. I had taken French from Jr. high through University (on and off) while my wife had never taken French before. Florence was able to create a lesson plan that suited both levels without feeling too simple or too complicated. Each session we'd have (what I would describe) as a mini-quiz where we refresh what we touched on with the last session and build on it, so it's a cadence of making sure what you've learned is retained as a foundation for further lessons, build up to go from words into phrases, sentences, and conversational structure.

We absolutely adore her and would highly recommend her to anyone at any level, whether you're starting from scratch or touching up your skills. She is absolutely wonderful and has an amazing knack for it!

Florence has been my kids tutor for more than 3 years now .. she has a wonderful rapport with people of all ages, especially children. Her ability to connect with her students and her talent at teaching simple concepts, as well as more advanced topics, are both truly superior.
