À propos de Joshua

Hello! I'm a passionate guitarist, performer and teacher with over five years of experience helping students discover and develop their musical abilities.

I've performed both as a solo musician and in professional bands, with experience across a wide range of musical settings, including orchestral music, rock, blues, folk, jazz and jazz fusion. This diverse musical background allows me to introduce students to different styles, techniques and approaches to playing.

For me, music has always been about creativity, expression and enjoyment. I believe the best way to become a great guitarist is to genuinely love playing, and that's the enthusiasm I try to bring to every lesson.

I'm an experienced teacher who enjoys adapting lessons to each student's personality, interests and learning style. Whether you're picking up a guitar for the first time, looking to improve your technique, developing your improvisation or hoping to perform confidently, I'd love to help you reach your goals.

My aim is not just to teach you how to play guitar, but to help you become the kind of musician you've always wanted to be!

I'm based in the Geneva area and offer flexible online and in-person lessons.

With over five years of guitar teaching experience and a background performing both solo and in professional bands, I offer engaging, personalised guitar lessons tailored to each student's interests, abilities and musical goals.

My philosophy is simple: learning guitar should be exciting, rewarding and something you genuinely look forward to!

I prioritise teaching the music students actually enjoy listening to, using their favourite songs and artists to develop technique, musical understanding and confidence. Whether you're interested in rock, blues, jazz, folk, improvisation or simply playing your favourite songs, I'll design a structured lesson plan around your interests.

Lessons can cover chords, rhythm, fingerstyle, soloing, improvisation, music theory, ear training and performance skills, depending on your goals.

Above all, I aim to help students develop a genuine passion for music, making practice feel like an enjoyable part of their lives rather than a chore.

All ages and levels welcome. Available online and in person around Geneva.
