À propos de Nina
In DC, I worked in a Russian Scout organization known as the St. George Pathfinders which is a group of scouts of immigrants from Russia: 1st, 3rd, 5th, etc generations. We work with children to protect our Russian heritage and culture, but most importantly, we work to protect (or teach) our Russian language. Every child has a unique background, and a unique grasp of the foreign language. Therefore the children work together to not only speak Russian, but also to include those who struggle. Having been a scout counselor for 4 years, I have had experiencing helping kids (ages 7-17) learn or improve a language, communicate in it, play games, participate in competitions… The most important lesson I’ve learned through this experience is that children learn while having fun. Recreating language lessons into mini competitions or games generates an enthusiasm for learning the language, so that the child could participate. Additionally, I am the oldest child of 5. At the age of 19, I have a sister who is 17, another who is 14, another who is 5, and a brother who is 3. My entire life, whether at home or outside, has revolved around the upbringing and education of kids. While growing up in a multi-cultural family, my sisters and I would constantly help each other when struggling in a language, albeit English, French, or Russian. I have learned a lot about education and children through experience, and have developed a passion for them as well.
As for adults, my mother works as a Russian Language professor at George Washington University and at the World Bank in Washington, DC. From her I have received a passion for linguistics as well as aiding adults new to the United States with language learning and adjustment. I have prepared books and lessons for learning the Russian language for business purposes which have been modified by my mother and I to function as a method of English language and vocabulary development, as well as Russian

Hello!
I am a student at the American University of Paris willing to give lessons in English and/or Russian. The lessons will involve new vocabulary, and can be focused to specifics, whether it is studying for a test, learning specific business vocabulary for a specific sector, or learning for fun :)
One of the most important components of acquiring a foreign language is practice of communication and a development of confidence. My lessons are more focused on developing speaking with vocabulary and grammatical lessons along the way, however the structure of courses is flexible according to your personal preferences :)

Je suis un étudiant à l'Université Américaine de Paris, prêt à donner des cours en anglais et/ou en russe. Les leçons impliqueront de nouveau vocabulaire , et peuvent être ciblée pour les examans, le vocabulaire de business ou autre travaille, ou d'apprendre pour plaisir :)
Un des éléments les plus importants de l'acquisition d'une langue étrangère, a mon avis, est la pratique de la communication et le développement de votre confiance. Mes leçons sont plus axés sur discussions pour parler plus, mais avec le vocabulaire et les leçons de grammaire integre. Je suis aussi pret pour changer la structure des cours pour etre plus flexible en fonction de vos préférences personnelles :)
