À propos de Rodrigo
I currently teach English to undergraduate and Master's students at Sciences Po Paris (B1 to C1), and to teenagers, kids and professionals at all levels.
I am a TEFL 5 certified tutor with nearly 20 years of executive experience working exclusively in English across the UK and France.
Lessons are built around current events, your personal interests, and what you need English for: work, study, exams, or being understood without effort.
With a focus on Student Talking Time, we will work on the details that separate good English from excellent English in different registers (formal, informal and workplace).
I spent almost two decades in advertising and technology, including as Creative Strategist at Meta and Creative Director at global agencies in London, so presentations, meetings, interviews and emails come from experience rather than a textbook.
I hold an MA from the Royal College of Art - UK and a BA in Social Communications from the University of São Paulo - BR.
Based in Paris. Online and in person (Paris and banlieue proche).

Your needs are the starting point:
• conversation and fluency
• writing: emails, reports, essays
• exam preparation
• presentations, meetings and public speaking
• interviews and career transitions
Lessons are built around you doing most of the talking, so you’ll acquire, practise and master English through things that matter to you. I bring current events and authentic materials matched to your level, interests and goals, and use Cambridge's In Use series as a backbone whenever needed.
Technology supports lessons and keeps you immersed in English beyond them. I’ll teach you the language and I’ll teach you how to learn independently.
I speak French fluently, which I use to untangle similarities and differences between the two languages.
Online or in person. Kids, teenagers and adult learners. From A1 to C1.
