À propos de William
I am a cell biologist and biochemist with over 14 years of experience working within the life sciences industry.
Trained in the laboratory of Nobel Laureate Randy Sheckman and having performed my Ph.D. at the Karolinska Institutet, I have used my education to work at the cutting edge of drug discovery in the fields of oncology, immunology, and rare diseases.
My motivation in teaching is to share my skills and understanding in cell biology, microbiology, and biochemistry with new students in the life sciences.
With me, you will further your ability to understand and communicate science in English, comprehend biological systems and experimental techniques, and gain a strong familiarity with using the scientific method.

My techniques and methods are two-pronged:
1) We will review your current coursework, understand your strengths and weaknesses, and develop an outline to systematically improve your comprehension so you can excel in the course.
2) Depending on a specific topic, I can outline a brief lecture on the subject, after which we will discuss the topic, helping you to better comprehend the subject matter.
I have a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and a bachelor's degree in molecular and cellular biology. I have taught medical students and biomedical students at the Karolinska Institutet in Sweden.
A major strength in my teaching methods includes improving your comprehension and confidence in understanding biology in the English language.
