À propos de Jacintha
I am Jacintha Wong from Malaysia, a mixed cultural country of Malays, Chinese, Indians and some Indigenous descents. I grew up in a musical family. I hold a Bachelor of Music specialised in Violin Performance from Middlesex University of London and Master in Ethnomusicology from University of Limerick, the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance. I have had 10 years of teaching experience and was awarded by Music Singapore International Piano and Violin Competition that my students were selected as winners in 2022. I am very enthusiastic about music making and cultural exchange that I continues to perform wherever I go. I am currently based in Paris, playing in the first violin section of an orchestra near Place Des Vosges. I would be extremely happy to help you learn about the violin and music from all over the world.

My teaching method is tailored to each student individually. Other than the famous Suzuki Method, I also use ABRSM Publications like the Violin Star Series and Progressive Studies. Additionally, I teach my students some Celtic tunes, Studio Ghibli Theme Songs Collection and the songs they preferred, such as old time classics like My Heart will Go On, You Raise Me Up, Over The Rainbow, etc. Or popular songs of Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars, etc. And Even some K Pop songs too! My classes will be one to one private lessons. My personality is bubbly and energetic, each of my class is filled with encouragement. I have taught students from beginner to grade 8 distinctions. Feel free to contact me if you’re eager to learn how to play your favourite songs on the violin.
