À propos de Lea
I am a TEFL certified native English speaker from the United States with four years of teaching experience and a Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages at George Mason University. I have experience working online and in-person with students from around the world. Highlights of my teaching career include time spent in San José, Costa Rica as an English teacher for adults and children at a private language institute, as well as two years of experience in Spanish high schools. I am comfortable working with students of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities, and I look forward to helping you achieve your learning goals!

My teaching philosophy is focused on student talk time and is based on the idea that language acquisition is most successful when students use the language in meaningful contexts. My lessons are dynamic and engaging and offer a wide variety of activities allowing students to develop and use their target language. I believe in working closely with each student to create a learning experience that suits them. I look forward to meeting you and creating a specific plan to help you achieve your English learning goals!

Cela fait plusieurs cours que je fais avec Léa et elle est vraiment une superprof :) Très à l'écoute et on apprend vite ... sa méthode me plait beaucoup : on commence à échanger sur la semaine passée sur ce qu'on a fait (donc on apprend des mots), et après on passe à un cours que Léa a préparé.

Parfait ! Both our children (11 and 15) were thrilled to follow classes with Lea during a whole week in the holidays. Through informal discussions and games (and a few exercises), Lea was able to help them each at their own level. She was very flexible too with the planning and gave us valuable feedback on how to help our kids progress. We definitely recommend her, but don't take all her time as we are going to need her again!

Je me prépare depuis 10 jours, 1h par jour avec elle pour passer un entretien d'embauche. Elle me permet de me sentir plus confiante dans mon expression orale anglaise. Elle sait aussi donner de bons conseils et de bonnes directions pour répondre à cet exercice particulier, déjà pas facile en français. Alors en anglais... ! Précisions
Prices: The price for each 50 minute class is 30 euros. The rate for group lessons is 25 euros per person.
Class Confirmation: All courses must be accepted within at least 24 hours of the proposed class time. Courses that have not been accepted within this time frame will automatically be cancelled.
Cancellation Policy: Courses must be cancelled with 24 hours of notice. Any courses that are cancelled within the 24 hour window will be charged.
Late Policy: Students must provide notice of late arrival within the first 15 minutes of class. After 15 minutes with no notice from the student, class will automatically be canceled and the student will still be charged.
