À propos d'Emilia
Salut! Hi! My name is Emilia! I am an English teacher from Canada. I have also taught a number of TOEFL and IELTS preparation crash courses in different countries. I speak English, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and some French. I currently mostly teach privately, but in the past I have worked in language schools in Brazil, Mexico, Russia, Argentina and Paraguay where I taught groups of students and also prepared students for standardized exams. In addition to English classes, I offer Russian and Portuguese lessons for all levels, as well as Spanish for beginners. In the near future, I plan to open my own language school.
Like many people, I like to travel, watch series, go to the beach and spend time on the internet. When I am not teaching, I usually write or try out new recipes.

The structure of your lessons will depend on your objectives and your learning style. If you are preparing for an exam, the lessons will be more rigid with enough homework so that you have lots of opportunities to practice until the day of your exam. For general English lessons, we will focus on conversation, but we will also devote time to grammar and writing. There will be homework, but it will be fun ;)
I have a general lesson structure, but everything depends on you, the student, because everyone learns in their own special way. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact me :)

Emilia is my English teacher and I'm preparing for the IELTS with her. I didn't meet her through this website, my friend recommended Emilias services. She gives a lot of homework, but I'm able to practice a lot and improve my skills. Speaking is still difficult for me, but I need to practice more. I'm planning to take my exam in August and so far I'm happy with Emilias classes. Thank you!
Oi! Comecei minhas classes com Emília em a semana passada e gostando muito! Eu aprendi um pouco português em a universidade, mas pretendo ir a Brasil para o carnaval no próximo ano, por isso tenho que praticar. Emilia is a great teacher and her explanations are very detailed. She always lets me know what I should work on and how to improve my accent. We only had 3 classes so far, but I'm hoping to continue with weekly classes until my trip.
