À propos de Celina
Hi, I’m Celina! I’m an American living in Paris, originally from North Carolina, with time spent in both New York City and London. Along the way, I’ve developed a love for culture, languages, and helping people connect through communication.
I’m fluent in French , which means I especially enjoy supporting French speakers on their English-learning journey — but I’ve also taught students from many different backgrounds. With several years of experience teaching English online and in person, I’ve worked with learners of all ages and levels.
My approach is relaxed, friendly, and conversational. I believe the best way to become confident in English is to use it — in real conversations about topics that interest you. Whether you’re preparing for travel, looking to boost your confidence at work, or simply want to chat more naturally, I’ll help you build fluency while keeping lessons enjoyable and tailored to your goals.
Outside of teaching, I’m a writer and content creator. I love dancing, going to the theatre, taking long walks in nature, reading, and watching movies. And if you’re an animal lover, you’ll definitely get to hear stories about my two very spoiled guinea pigs .

I began my English teaching journey while working as an au pair in France, where I taught both children and adults one-on-one. I supported students with homework, designed engaging lessons using flashcards and games, and created personalized curricula to meet individual learning needs.
From there, I gained extensive online teaching experience and became a top-rated instructor on a leading English-learning app for Chinese students, where I taught learners of all ages and levels.
In France, I’ve also taught in academic settings: first at a lycée (high school), where I led classes in conversational English and American culture, and later at a university, where I continued helping students build fluency and cultural understanding. Most recently, I spent a year teaching English through creative writing at a prestigious French engineering school (grande école), guiding students in combining language learning with self-expression.
