À propos de Daria
Greetings! My name is Daria and I was born in Poland. I grew up in Southern California and went to art school in the San Francisco Bay Area. I've worked and performed in the San Francisco Bay Area and also here in Poland. I've taught English for several years, both in Gdansk and in Warsaw, and I give conversation lessons. Please note that at this time, I don't teach beginning students. Be prepared to bring all your interesting topics for a great lesson! I'm also currently learning French, and understand that learning is a lifelong process and can be frustrating. I approach teaching with patience and kindness. Please note that I only work with adult students. I also have experience in successfully coaching students for the Erasmus entrance exam.

I give casual and informative English conversation lessons, for an optimal and comfortable learning environment. Whether you're looking for a long-term tutor or just need a quick brush-up in your language skills, please feel free to email me and let me know what your needs are. I provide notes at the end of each lesson. I've been giving language lessons since I was 21. Here is some of my more recent past experience:
English Teacher/Translator/Assistant—MaryLand/Language Extreme/Moose/Latawiec, Gdansk/Sopot/Warsaw, Poland—2018-2021
• Conversation/writing/grammar using written/visual/video material and everyday life
• Translated video projects from Polish to English for captioning
• Writing assistant to Izabela Morska, published author and professor of American Studies at the University of Gdansk
