À propos d'Angelica
I am a native English speaker from Canada who has taught in Australia, England, and France with students aged 5 to 13. I am currently working in a primary bilingual school in Paris and recently completed my MEd in Developmental Psychology in Education. I keep up to date with current research surrounding education and participate in professional development workshops regularly. I have tutored since high school and have always enjoyed working with kids.

I am a certified elementary and middle school teacher who provides individualized lesson plans based on the needs of my students. I can assist in improving writing, reading, speaking, and oral comprehension based on your desires and needs. Lessons are adapted to different types of learners and abilities.
The first meeting consists of me evaluating the student's level and getting an understanding of what they would like to achieve. Together we decide on goals and I create a program adapted to the student's needs.
I create a fun and engaging learning environment for my students. The more engaged they are the more learning that happens.
Depending on the student I may include theatre, word games, writing activities, charades, and or novel studies.
For the students who learn better from moving, I incorporate movement into the lesson. For students who learn better from visuals, I include flash cards and drawings. I take the time to figure out what best suits the student and adapt the program daily to ensure the best learning experience.
Depending on the student’s level of English and other English activities, I suggest a minimum of 2 sessions per week to provide a good opportunity for learning the language.
