À propos de Maya
Finding the right tutor is about more than just finding someone who speaks the language; it is about partnering with a mentor who understands how to build real, lasting competence without the anxiety. With a certified C2 English proficiency (IELTS 8.5), top honors across Cambridge IGCSE and International Baccalaureate Higher Level English and ongoing international university training in communications, I offer an academic standard that is thorough, precise and results-driven.
Behind these credentials are more than five years of dedicated, hands-on teaching experience. Having worked closely with young children building foundational reading and speech, secondary students tackling rigorous international exams and university peers refining their academic writing, I understand that every learner progresses at their own pace. You will find that our sessions are structured with meticulous preparation, clear learning milestones and a calm, encouraging atmosphere where questions are always welcomed and mistakes are treated as natural progress.
Whether your goal is securing top marks on an upcoming exam, speaking with effortless conversational fluency or giving your child a head start in an engaging environment, you can count on complete reliability, personalized lesson materials and genuine commitment to your success from day one.

My teaching approach is built on communicative, low-anxiety immersion: language is mastered through real conversation and practical application rather than passive memorization. A typical 60-minute session begins with an engaging conversational warm-up to switch your brain into English, moves into a focused mini-lesson targeting a specific grammar, vocabulary or analytical goal, transitions into interactive practice through dialogue, essay review or guided games and closes with clear, actionable feedback.
With certified C2 English proficiency (IELTS C2, IB English A Higher Level 6/7 and Cambridge IGCSE A/A*) alongside a degree in International Communication and Media, my strength lies in blending academic precision with warm, patient delivery. With over five years of experience teaching young children and mentoring university peers, my lessons are tailored for primary learners building foundational fluency, secondary students preparing for IGCSE/IB exams and adults or university students looking to sharpen conversational confidence and professional public speaking.
