À propos de Katherine
Since 2004, I have been teaching a large number of students from all over the world and providing tailor-made in-company training courses in the Geneva / Vaud Region (Switzerland) and in Moscow (Russia).
General / Business courses have primarily been conducted in the following sectors: IT, consulting, financial, humanitarian, legal, media/advertising and pharmaceutical.
A number of students have been put through different Cambridge exams over the years: The International Legal English Certificate (ILEC), The First Certificate in English (FCE), The Certificate in Advanced English (CAE), the Business English Certificate (BEC): BEC Preliminary, BEC Vantage and BEC Higher. High pass rate.
I established my own language training company (Hyvarinen Language Training) in 2012, and have ,since then, been continuously gaining fundamental knowledge in business innovation (especially Russian business practices) ,furthering my entrepreneurial skills and creating the most effective training methods for companies.
I conduct in-company trainings ( private / group lessons) and online sessions (via Skype and Zoom in English, French, German).

In February 2021, I transitioned from a Language Teacher to a Neurolanguage Coach️* (certified by Efficient Language Coaching and accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF))
* The Neurolanguage Coaching method and approach created by Rachel Marie Paling.
My own definition of Neurolanguage Coaching:
"We use the principles of Neuroscience, together with the principles of Coaching and bring them into the language learning process. We pay great attention to how the brain functions, learns and reacts. During the sessions of Neurolanguage Coaching, we work towards finding that perfect learning state. It must be mentioned that no brain is the same; so, in order to learn efficiently and quickly, we must keep the brain in a calm state at all times. We use a brain-friendly approach for language learning by asking powerful, thought-provoking questions. This is where the principles of Coaching then come into the process. With the pertinent questions asked, we also work towards finding and setting goals together with their action steps. In order to reach this perfect learning state, the coach and coachee are on a voyage of discovery together through conversation. The coachee will not only be discovering more about himself / herself, but also about his / her own way of learning, becoming more autonomous in the process."
