À propos d'Edibelk
I'm Edibelk, but everybody calls me Edi. I've been teaching for over 9 years now. Got my CELTA certificate in November 2024 from the University of Cambridge. I'm close to getting my degree in Education at Universidad Metropolitana in Caracas, Venezuela. I've studied English since a young age, but I got certified by EF Language Center in Los Angeles back in 2014 with a level of C2 (Upper Advanced). I've had the opportunity to work with a wide range of ages, starting from 3 up to 60 year old students, from Venezuela, Spain and now France. I'm in constant growth and I'm fond of learning from my students, sometimes the student becomes the master and I love when that happens! I really enjoy teaching and to see how my students grow through lessons, always considering their level, preferences, and areas of improvement.

I focus on communication, if you're learning a language the most important part is to communicate with others. Preferences are important to me, if you want to learn about a specific topic or about grammar/writing, conversation, etc., I'll take that into account, I'm an adaptable and flexible teacher, my lessons are always personalized, you just tell me what you need/want and how you'd like it to be delivered, and I'll do the rest! :) -SATs preparation. -Cambridge English test. -TOEFL. -IELTS - Conversation. - Grammar/writing. -Reading comprehension. -Listening. -English interview preparation.
Example of conversation class: I'll always start asking about your day or week, also paying attention to areas of improvement. Students will always discuss, share, compare answers or ideas with other students or teacher, functional language will be part of this class, developed in a real life context, pronunciation drills, linking sounds, stress and work with chunks of information that they might need to excel their communication. The student can also make questions to me, it can have a conversation club kind of vibe, depends on the number of students or if it's private. I'll always be taking notes, and correcting mistakes (if any) to my student throughout the class or at the end of it (depending on feedback), if I see some difficulties on delivering an idea or thought, I'll give them tips on how can they express themselves using a set of words depending on the situation, but also challenge them to achieve the sought growth. I'll also create exercises at the moment for my students to complete based on the deficiency or struggle. I always give tips on how they can enhance their learning and become the English speaker they've always wanted! :)
