À propos de Lory
I'm originally from the United States, where I lived in many different places, from Honolulu to New Hampshire; now I live in Switzerland with my family.
I have college degrees in English literature and education, and I've worked as a teacher, an editor, and a book designer. My essays and book reviews have been published in magazines and online journals.
After I moved to Switzerland, and had to work hard to learn languages myself, I became interested in teaching English. I earned my CELTA certificate in 2020, and now I'm teaching English online to students all over the world as well as in a local language school. I also work with adults with developmental disabilities.

Through personalized, custom-designed instruction, you will become more confident and fluent in the topics that are most important for you, and will start to take control of your own language learning.

• Job interviews
• Communicating on the phone
• Presentations at work or for school
* Talking to freelance clients
I give you homework to do between our sessions -- listening, speaking and/or writing tasks. Doing these tasks, along with the feedback during our lessons, will enable you to make significant progress with your spoken English.
I am also an experienced editor and can help you with written projects and assignments.
