Hello!
Specialized in teaching Business Chinese for adults, I am an academic advisor. Whether for work, communication with Chinese clients or colleagues, or for developing business in Chinese-speaking markets, I provide tailored guidance and training.
I’m a certified Chinese teacher and native speaker who spent 10 years working at American architectural firms in Shanghai, using English daily in a professional environment. I’ve been living in Paris for 11 years, and I can teach in French, English, and Chinese — all at a bilingual level. My highest qualification is a Master II from ESSCA Paris.
My strength lies in a personalized, pedagogical approach for each student, and my style is to actively follow your progress to ensure your success.
I especially enjoy working with learners who have business ambitions and a thirst for knowledge. In my lessons, I combine language learning with traditional Chinese culture, making the process both meaningful and practical.
A typical 50-minute lesson is structured as follows:
10 minutes – You present your work or assignments.
10 minutes – I introduce new lesson content.
10 minutes – We drill and practice together.
10 minutes – You complete guided exercises.
10 minutes – I summarize your progress and give tailored assignments.
I offer a structured Business Chinese program in six levels, from HSK 1 to HSK 6, designed to help you reach your communication and cultural goals. At the end of each lesson, you’ll receive a PowerPoint file with our class notes. You’re also welcome to send me your work before class so we can maximize our time together.

HSK and CEFR Equivalence (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)

→ Can introduce oneself, ask simple questions, understand and respond to basic immediate needs.
Example: short dialogues during the first two meetings, talking about oneself, family, and likes/dislikes.
HSK 2 → A2
≈ 300 words | +30–50h (≈ 60–100h total)
→ Can communicate in familiar situations, express simple needs, and describe their environment.
Example: asking for directions, ordering in a restaurant, talking about daily activities.
HSK 3 → B1
≈ 600 words | +30–50h (≈ 90–150h total)
→ Can handle most travel situations, express ideas on familiar topics, and narrate events.
➤ Can follow an exchange student program (in simplified Chinese) with language support.
Example: discussing holidays, work, or studies, explaining a simple project.
HSK 4 → B2

HSK 5 → C1
≈ 2500 words | +30–50h (≈ 150–250h total)
→ Can understand long and demanding texts, speak fluently and spontaneously, and adapt language to different contexts.
Example: reading a Chinese novel, giving a lecture, or writing an article.
HSK 6 → C2
≈ 5000 words | +30–50h (≈ 180–300h total)
→ Complete mastery of the language. Can understand almost everything read or heard, and express themselves with precision and nuance, even in academic or technical contexts.
Example: participating in a university debate, translating literary or legal texts.

Chinese learning is a long and fun commitment. My lesson usually costs 40 euros per hour. But I am trying to keep it lower so I can have more adult students and help you use this language as efficiently as possible.
