Both of my children had English lessons with Zofia, and she adapted her approach brilliantly to each of them. One was preparing for the CAE and was gently pushed to achieve her best, while the other needed more support with schoolwork and building consistent learning habits. Zofia is patient, encouraging and really understands how to get the best out of each child. Highly recommend Zofia.

I was a student of Zofia’s while preparing for my CAE exam, which I needed for my Oxford application, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better teacher. She prepared me extremely well, and I passed with excellent results.

What I loved most was how well she understood what I needed. I asked her to be strict and very direct with me, and she was - always pushing me to improve, but with a lot of compassion. From the beginning, she created a clear, structured plan for us, while still adapting it whenever I needed more practice in a specific area.

Our lessons were usually 90 minutes, but they always flew by. I would leave each one feeling like I had learned so much and was genuinely excited about my progress. We worked almost entirely in English, but since Zofia is also fluent in Croatian, she could explain things in my native language whenever I really needed it.

She’s an excellent teacher, and I recommend her to anyone who wants to seriously improve their English or prepare for an important exam.

Zofia prepared me perfectly for my IB English exam, and thanks to her guidance and support, I got into my dream university.

I’m now honoured to call her a dear friend, which says a lot about the kind of person she is. Every lesson with Zofia was genuinely a pleasure. She is incredibly professional and knows exactly when to be strict and demanding, but she is also one of the kindest, sweetest and most pleasant people I’ve ever had the pleasure of learning from. Her knowledge of English is truly impressive. She was amazing at recognising my knowledge gaps and targeting them directly, even when I tried my best to avoid them, haha! She always knew exactly what I needed to work on and pushed me to improve without ever making me feel discouraged.

She also helped me perfect my British English pronunciation before my IB exam, paying attention to even the smallest details. Her own accent is perfect, and her attention to language and pronunciation is exceptional. I couldn’t recommend Zofia more highly. She is incredibly knowledgeable, supportive and genuinely lovely, and I’m so grateful I had the opportunity to learn from her.
