À propos de Gina
Hi ! My name is Gina Mayon. I am an American singer songwriter with 20 years of professional experience in music performance and writing. I am a (mostly) self-taught rhythm guitar player, though I have had extensive vocal, musical performance, and songwriting training. My teaching strength is in basic music theory and beginner or intermediate guitar, with a focus to use the guitar as an instrument for songwriting, or to just have fun learning all those songs you know and love. I will be teaching these lessons in English until my French is better. I'm located in the 20th arrondissement of Paris.

My teaching method includes basic music theory as well as guitar basics. We would first address the gaps in any of the necessary theory you will need before we pick up our guitars. After that, we will go through all of the open chords, bar chords, scales, finger picking patterns and rhythms that you will need to play whatever you like, learn what you want, and create your own songs. My background is in rock, pop, folk, blues, indie and country music, but once you know the basics, all genres of music are able to be explored.
