I am a published author, copy editor, and educator with over 25 years of experience in the field of English communication. I have worked with hundreds of learners of diverse ages from five to 60, with varying levels of English proficiency since 1997.
My instruction is customised to your specific needs. I specialise in providing academic writing support to students working on high-level critical writing in English — essays and theses. Professionals requiring assistance in their presentations and resumes can also benefit from my services.

I provide customised instruction targeted at: 1) the level of the students — starting from where they are at and 2) the objective or the nature of the task. The rigorous method is targeted at helping students develop critical thinking and analytical skills required for academic writing.
1st lesson
1) Review of a relevant document produced by the student to evaluate the level of the student and the specific learning challenges.
2) Identify the learning objectives based on the specific deadlines for assignments such as dissertations.
3) Map out the step-by-step process for completing each task.
Subsequent lessons:
1) Review the student's work and provide feedback. Corrections are made as a reference for students to improve their work.
2) Work together with the students to set out the subsequent learning tasks.

The fee charged is based on the high level of cognitive work involved in our teaching experience.
It will be a teaching experience that will challenge students to think and work beyond what they learn in the class.
Furthermore, I am often available to my students for additional queries if they do not require significant time and effort.
No additional charges are imposed for the time spent speaking to parents of students or interacting with them via text.
