Thibaut is an international concert pianist and répétiteur. Born in Épernay, France, he began his piano studies at the Monaco Academy of Music, before continuing his training with Christophe Bukudjian in Saint-Maur-des-Fossés and Hervé Billaut in Lyon.
In 2015, he was admitted to the Geneva University of Music, where he studied with Dominique Weber. He obtained a Master’s Degree in Piano Performance in 2020, followed by a second Master’s Degree specializing in Piano Accompaniment, studying with Nina Uhari and James Alexander.
His career combines performances as a soloist and chamber musician, with appearances at numerous festivals and prestigious venues throughout Europe and the United States, including the Prince’s Palace of Monaco, the Printemps des Arts de Monte-Carlo, Victoria Hall in Geneva and the Aspen Music Festival, where he was invited for two consecutive seasons as a laureate of the Fondation Princesse Grace.
Alongside his performing career, he has developed extensive experience working with singers as a pianist and répétiteur. He has taken part in opera productions in Switzerland, France and Germany, including La Bohème, Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Carmen and La Belle Hélène. In 2022, he was a finalist in the Geneva Mahler Competition with mezzo-soprano Valérie Pellegrini and was invited that same year to the Young Artist Vocal Academy at Houston Grand Opera.
After working with the vocal department of the Geneva University of Music, he was a répétiteur at the Opera Studio of the Opéra National du Rhin in Strasbourg from 2024 to 2026, before joining the Opernstudio of Zurich Opera House in 2026. He has also collaborated with renowned artists including Natalie Dessay and Gauthier Capuçon.
Alongside his performing career, Thibaut has 15 years of experience teaching piano, both privately and in music schools. His teaching is tailored to each student’s level, goals and musical interests. He is comfortable working across a wide range of repertoires, from classical music to jazz, pop, popular and film music.

Thibaut est pianiste concertiste et chef de chant. Né à Épernay, il commence ses études à l’Académie de Musique de Monaco, puis poursuit sa formation auprès de Christophe Bukudjian à Saint-Maur-des-Fossés et Hervé Billaut à Lyon.
En 2015, il intègre la Haute École de Musique de Genève, où il étudie auprès de Dominique Weber. Il y obtient en 2020 un Master de concert, puis un second Master spécialisé en accompagnement au piano, dans la classe de Nina Uhari et James Alexander.
Sa carrière se développe à la fois comme soliste et musicien de chambre, avec des concerts dans de nombreux festivals et salles en Europe et aux États-Unis, notamment au Palais Princier de Monaco, au Printemps des Arts de Monte-Carlo, au Victoria Hall de Genève et au Aspen Music Festival, où il est invité pendant deux saisons en tant que lauréat de la Fondation Princesse Grace.
Parallèlement à son activité de concertiste, il développe une importante activité auprès des chanteurs. Il travaille comme accompagnateur et chef de chant dans différentes productions lyriques en Suisse, en France et en Allemagne, et collabore notamment à des productions de La Bohème, Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Carmen et La Belle Hélène. En 2022, il est finaliste du Concours Mahler de Genève avec la mezzo-soprano Valérie Pellegrini et est invité la même année à la Young Artist Vocal Academy du Houston Grand Opera.

Familier d’un large éventail de répertoires, il enseigne aussi bien la musique classique que le jazz, la pop, la variété et la musique de film.

PRIVATE PIANO LESSONS AT HOME
International concert pianist offering private piano lessons at the student’s home in Zurich, for children, teenagers and adults, from beginners to advanced students.
I hold a Master’s Degree in Piano Performance and a Master’s Degree in Piano Accompaniment, both obtained at the Geneva University of Music (Haute École de Musique de Genève).
Alongside my performing career as a soloist and chamber musician, I have 15 years of experience teaching piano, both privately and in music schools.
I worked for two years as a répétiteur / vocal coach at the Opera Studio of the Opéra National du Rhin in Strasbourg, and I currently work as a répétiteur at Zurich Opera House.
I am comfortable teaching and working across a wide range of musical styles and repertoires, including classical music, jazz, pop, popular music and film music. Lessons can therefore be tailored to each student’s musical interests, whether they wish to develop a strong classical foundation, explore different styles, or simply learn to play the music they love.
My teaching is individually tailored to each student’s level, goals and musical interests, with a strong focus on solid technique, beautiful sound, musicality and interpretation.
Lessons can include:
