À propos de Soumaya
I am a Moroccan-American native English speaker, and I also speak French, Spanish, and Arabic. Having learned languages myself, I understand the challenges students face and how important confidence and practice are when learning a new language. At 18 years old, I'm an incoming medical student in Valencia, Spain. Throughout my own journey learning Spanish, I have faced many challenges. The biggest one was learning how to communicate my ideas in a fluent and natural way. Over time, I realized that the best way to improve in a language was simply to practice: speak, speak, speak. Even when I sometimes felt like I was making mistakes or saying things incorrectly, I continued putting in effort every day, speaking with native speakers, and stepping outside my comfort zone. Thanks to this approach, I have made significant progress. This experience is what inspired me to offer English lessons: to guide you through your learning journey and provide a space where you can practice, express yourself freely, and build confidence. I am a sociable and active person: I have been playing basketball as part of a team for 5 years, I participate in 10 km races and half-marathons, I also play the piano, and I enjoy reading novels. I look forward to sharing my experience with you and helping you improve your English!

The fear of speaking, hesitation, and difficulty expressing our ideas are common challenges we face when learning a new language. As someone who is also learning Spanish, I truly understand these struggles. That is why, in my lessons, we will create a supportive and encouraging environment where you can improve your accent, pronunciation, and speaking confidence through an approach based on authentic English. We will also work on your vocabulary and your ability to express your ideas clearly and confidently. You will have the opportunity to speak freely about topics that interest you: politics, sports, education, work, or any other subject you are passionate about. This is your course and your space: you get to choose the topics we discuss, the conversations we have, and the experiences we share. My goal is to support you throughout your learning journey and help you become more confident when speaking English. Let's do this!
