My name is Lauren Tanner.
I am an English teacher with a 120hr TEFL (Teaching English As A Foreign Language) qualification.
My nationality is Irish although I am currently taking a gap year and living in Troyes, teaching English online and experiencing French culture.
I have some previous teaching experience and I am passionate about the English language.
I am willing to teach students from the age groupes ( minimum age being 5 years old )

I usually use the teaching methodology,
PPP – Presentation, Practice and Production. Although depending on the objective of the lesson, sometimes alternative teaching methods are more suitable such as TTT ( Test, Teach, Test ) or TBL ( Task Based Learning ) The method PPP is both a straightforward and effective teaching methodology, especially for beginners. I feel that this teaching methodology enables me to build the students understanding of the English language and introduce new aspects of the language in a fun and flexible way, allowing me to easily introduce vocabulary, teach meaning and context,drill pronunciation and use grammatical rules and concepts in a variety of ways that suit all the different learning types – Auditory, Visual, Verbal and Kinesthetic.
