I work since more than 10 years as a teacher (diving and skiing) and since 3 years as a German teacher for students all around the world. I have given more than 1000 lessons by now and, as with diving or skiing, always got positive feedback from my students. "Do what you love and you will be good at it."
Ich arbeite schon seit über 10 Jahre als Lehrer (Tauch- und Schilehrer) und habe vor 3 Jahren begonnen Deutsch als Fremdsprache zu unterrichten. Ich hatte schon Schüler aus der ganzen Welt, habe mehr als 1000 Stunden unterrichtet und, so wie bei meinen Schi- und Tauchkursen, immer gutes Feedback erhalten. "Mach was dir Spaß macht und du wirst gut darin sein."
J' ai travaille depuis dix ans comme une moniteur (de ski et plonger) et il y a trois ans que j'ai commencer d' enseigner Allemand. J' ai fait plus de mille lecons avec des eleves de toute le monde. Comme avec mes courses de skier ou de plonger, j'ai toujours recu de bon feedback.

Are you looking to improve your German or start from scratch? With me you can progess at your own pace and I will adapt my lessons for you to match your individual goals.
Weather you want to improve your reading or listening comprehension, your speaking skills, or work on your grammar or vocabulary, I will find a way to keep you engaged without asking too much.
In general I believe, that talking is the key to learning a new language and therefore I will always try to engage you in conversations during my lessons, however there is also this other thing, that is quite important and that noone likes, when learning a new language:
Grammar. Here I think the most important thing is to keep a clear structure and only introduce little bits at a time. Even I think some parts of the German grammar are "weird", however there is always an underlying (and in my opinion quite easy) structure. And by making you understand this structure little bits at a time you will internalize it much faster.
But then again, we have a saying that goes: "Der Kunde ist König". (The customer is the king)
So we will work on the things that are most important to you. Every student is different, and therefore every lesson is different.

Egal ob du dein Lese- oder Hörverständnis, dein Sprechen, deine Grammatik oder dein Vokabular verbessern möchtest, ich werde dich fordern, aber nicht überfordern.
Generell glaube ich, dass Sprechen eine Schlüsselrolle beim Erlernen einer Sprache ist. Deshalb werde ich während meinen Stunden immer versuchen dich in Gespäche zu verwickeln. Aber da gibt es noch eine andere wichtige Sache, die niemand gerne hat:
Die Grammatik. Ich glaube hier ist es besonders wichtig eine klare Struktur zu haben und immer nur kleine Teilaspekte klar abgegrenzt zu lernen. Sogar ich denke manchmal, dass die Deutsche Grammatik "komisch" ist, sie hat aber immer eine grundlegende (und nicht allzuschwierige) Struktur. Wenn du diese klare Struktur Stück für Stück lernst, wirst du sie umso schneller aufnehmen.
Aber wir haben ein Sprichwort auf Deutsch, das lautet: "Der Kunde ist König". Deshalb werden wir immer an den Dingen arbeiten, die dir persönlich am wichtigsten sind. Jeder Schüler ist anders und deshalb ist jede Stunde anders.

Je peux aussi enseigner en Francais, mais mon niveau est pas tres haut.
Pour moi le chose le plus important c'est parler, donc je vais toujours essayer de faire de conversation. Par contre il faut faire attention a la grammaire tout de meme.
