À propos de Sharad
I am a music composer, producer and classical singer from Delhi, India. For the last 3 years, I have been representing India in a residency in France called Ethno France. In these 3 years, I have developed 2 projects "Pen Pal" and "Salmagundi" that compose original music and perform throughout Europe. Through this course I'd like to share my knowledge of Indian classical music and meet new people.

This course is for anyone who wants to begin their journey in Indian classical music. As a trained classical singer and performer, I would be approaching this course with more practical tasks including voice modulation, singing scales and raagas and introducing some practices that you could incorporate in your daily routine. I would be offering a 6 lesson course: Lesson 1: History, theory and listening session (1 hour) Lesson 2: Introduction to the singing technique and the scales Lesson 3: Continuation of Lesson 2 and introduction to raaga system Lesson 4: Selecting a raaga and learning the compositions of it Lesson 5: Learning how to modulate in a raaga with the specific rules Lesson 6: Techniques to improvise + practice for daily routine
