Pourquoi me rencontrer? Because I have a true passion for the English language, not only as it should be, but also as it actually is. And because I will make that passion come alive for you, not so much as a teacher or trainer, but more as an imparter: one who shares, communicates and instills; one who will show you how to use English as a communication tool et vous apprendra à y prendre plaisir.
Pourquoi travailler avec moi? Because, amongst other things, I can help you understand something you were never taught in school: how to use French to learn English; how to understand the history and evolution of the language to better apprehend its contemporary use; en comprendre l’usage au-delà d’une simple étude grammaticale.
Pourquoi m’écouter? Because together we can explore the logic, images, rhythms and sounds of the English language for improved comprehension and restitution, pour qu’au fil du temps la langue devienne vôtre, intuitive.
Pourquoi me faire confiance? Because English is my mother tongue and I am also fluent in French, which can save us a lot of time when complex explanations are required et que certaines différences culturelles sont à prendre en compte (les origines des faux amis par exemple).

Mon approche, the i-Facing experience, a été specialement conçue pour les francophones en prenant en compte leurs besoins et leurs attentes and understanding where they come from and hence where they want and need to go.
Avec i-Facing vous ferez de réels progrès by developing your confidence (disposing of your fears, anxieties and inhibitions), building on your existing skills for best effect (anchoring your existing knowledge and expanding it), and extending your word-power for meaning and impact.

Let me guide you through its complexities and share with you the rich and fun experiences that will help you feel perfectly comfortable in any given situation.

EXPERIENCE
As mentioned above, my approach was designed for willing and motivated learners who have the need and desire to go beyond what they think English should be in order to grasp what English is really all about and use it for what it is: a communication tool.
I developed this approach after having worked extensively in the fields of consumer and corporate communication (advertising, promotion, events) in France, the UK and the US.
During my more than 25-year career as a copywriter and project manager I have also coached my clients and their clients in terms, namely, of project preparation, presentation writing and public speaking.
Today I use that experience to accompany private individuals and corporate staff, whether face-to-face or in small groups, to help them face the challenge before them: use English as a decisive communication tool.
I have also helped authors correct, proofread and improve their essays, articles and non-fiction books; rewritten web sites for increased impact and straight-to-the-point content; conducted presentation workshops; and much, much more.
